The name “Tennessee whiskey” refers to an old maturation process, softening with charcoal, which gives Old N°7 its particular taste and color.
Distilled drop by drop through three meters of sugar maple charcoal, then matured in artisanal barrels that we have made. And our Tennessee Whiskey doesn’t follow a schedule. It is ready only when our tasters decide. We judge it by its appearance, its aroma, and of course, its taste. That’s how Jack Daniel did it more than a century ago, and how we still do it today.
